Enjoy an afternoon of fine Scotch whisky tasting at the Franklin Room in Chicago, presented by the University of St Andrews in partnership with the Society of Architectural Historians. Proceeds from the event will benefit the University of St Andrews' 600th Anniversary Campaign and the Society of Architectural Historians' 70th Annual International Conference to be held in Glasgow, Scotland, in June 2017.
Guests will be met by Whisky Master Clint Rogers, a Texas native and long-time veteran of the Chicago restaurant scene running beverage programs and or managing locales such as Nightwood, Graham Elliot, Henri, The Gage, and The Dawson. Whether you are a seasoned whisky drinker, or are tasting for the first time, Clint will lead us through a tasting of four Scottish whiskies and an unusual 'mystery guest' tipple from further afield. An optional dinner will follow the tasting, from 5:00-7:00 PM.
